hips and through
my vertebrae
curved beneath my coccyx
attached delicately at
the tips of my pelvis

- Megan E. Freeman used to live in northeast Los Angeles, central Ohio, northern Norway and on Caribbean cruise ships. She earned a BA in theater from Occidental College and an MFA in acting from the Ohio State University.
